Love

Beginnings are usually scary and endings are usually sad, but it’s everything in between that makes it all worth living.

Falling in love is like jumping off a really tall building. Your brain tells you it is not a good idea, but your heart tells you, you can fly

You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.

It’s not hard to find someone who tells you they love you, its hard to find someone who actually means it.

Everyone says that loves hurts, but that’s not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Everyone confuse these things with love but reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful again.

What's happiness ?

When ask what's happiness, Ellen Degeneres said :

Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city ...lol..

It makes sense right? Family can really get in your way! E.g. my two brothers are always at each others throat during family gatherings. And they are not kids anymore. My mum is always helping people, at the expense of her own time & money. No body ever return all the money she ever lent to them. That like pisses all of us off, especially my dad. My brother is always calling me to run errands. In fact the whole family does that to me, as I've a compulsive nature. They know I'll get anything done asap. If the washing machine spoils, it's me, TV , micro wave whatever, it's all on me.

Disillusion all the time ?

The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see

- the past, better than it was,
-the present, worse than it is,
-and the future less resolved than it will be.

What's love really?

Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.

I just wish someone would love me in this way! These days people are just too selfish.

Happiness depends on ....

For most of life, nothing wonderful happens. If you don’t enjoy getting up and working and finishing your work and sitting down to a meal with family or friends, then the chances are you’re not going to be very happy. If someone bases his/her happiness on major events like a great job, huge amounts of money, a flawlessly happy marriage or a trip to Paris, that person isn’t going to be happy much of the time.
If, on the other hand, happiness depends on a good breakfast, flowers in the yard, a drink or a nap, then we are more likely to live with quite a bit of happiness.

I'll be super happy everyday if my yard looks like this!

Awareness

“To be aware of little, quiet things,

you need to be quiet inside.

A high degree of alertness is required.

Be still.
Look.
Listen.
Be present.”

Time isn’t precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time-past and future-the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is.”
